CAKE PICNIC is finally headed to New York City this fall!

The day and moment we’ve all been waiting for: hundreds of cakes and cake lovers meeting up in Brooklyn on November 8. There’s no better place to set the stage for this gathering than right here in the creative heartbeat of the city – where every block, bakery, and kitchen has its own story to tell.

New York’s cake community is as diverse and fearless as the city itself. From classic black-and-white layers to sky-high rainbow cakes, from Chinatown-inspired flavors to Caribbean rum-soaked confections, the cakes here capture the energy of the city that never sleeps. It’s a place where tradition and experimentation live side by side, and this tour stop will reflect that bold spirit.

And guess what? This tour stop just got lovelier! Guinness is proving that everyday is a lovely day for a Guinness by serving up Guinness Chocolate Cake that’s bold, creamy, and baked with the unmistakable taste of Guinness. Guinness has long been a baker’s secret weapon for those looking to experiment with taking their chocolate cake recipes to the next level! Its roasted barley and natural creaminess adds an unexpected depth and richness. It’s why bakers around the world reach for a can when they want to give their creations something unforgettable. Come taste how Guinness makes cake even bolder, and the day even lovelier.

Betty Crocker is also joining the party, bringing her legacy of community, creativity, and care to the table. For nearly a century, Betty has believed that baking isn’t just about recipes, it’s about bringing people together. She has always been at the heart of connecting bakers across generations, kitchens, and neighborhoods, and now she’s connecting with the CAKE PICNIC community in Brooklyn. Together, we’re celebrating that same spirit of sharing, joy, and the love of cake that Betty has championed for decades.

So bake a cake you’re proud of and join us for the CAKE PICNIC that’s about to make NYC part of the worldwide movement.

For the love of cake,
Elisa
